The Restaurante Oasis was a simple, beach front restaurant on the other side of the river to Vila Nova Milfontes (so if you have a car, it’s just across the bridge). It’s a great, quiet and very simple/ traditional decor with a beautiful view from the decked terrace. We ordered the small octopus salad and sardines for starters and the breaded fish soup & breaded shrimp strew for mains, 3 glasses of wine and one beer (bill today was approx 46€, a bargain for what we ate & drank). Both main meals were super delicious, we probably could have shared one, considering we had starters. The staff were really lovely, and we were able to bring a dog onto the terrace. Great beach restaurant and bar. We sat outside and could see our staff on the beach 20 meters away. Dog friendly. Surprise with value and quality. Very impressive location and great view; busy but despite no other restaurant, the menu was NOT overpriced which was a big plus. Our waiter was attentive and helped us with drink choice, even brought us a tester. All service was friendly and professional.

We booked the table an hour in advance and I am glad we did as it was packed. The service was still very fast and nice. And the food! OMG! We ordered the cataplana de marisco and it was amazing! Would love to go again!

Wow! What an amazing meal! My partner and I had the Seafood Cataplana, and it really was one of the best meals I've had in Portugal, and I have lived here for over a decade. The setting is overlooking the river beach, and the beautiful sunset can be seen from the terrace. We were immediately made to feel at home, the waiter encouraged our limited portuguese, and although he spoke perfect english, it was fun to chat in a fun way with him.
The Cataplana consisted of a small Lobster, half a Crab, lots of Prawns, Clams & Mussels cooked in a very rich delicious sauce. The price for this excellent meal was very competitive, and we would not hesitate in returning. Thank you Oasis for a very memorable experience...we will be back 💖- Wait time

From the food, the service and the location all is amazing. Facing Vila Nova de Milfontes, at any time of the day is a good time to come and enjoy your meal. The waiters are super friendly and the price is a good relation of price and quality! The grilled fish is so good and the meat a alenjana also. If you can, stay outside and enjoy the view! A must go in Vila Nova de Milfontes.

Best octopus salad that we have ever eat. We also took fish of the day that was sea bass and it was perfect, made on grill, with garlic butter served with french fries that were also amazing.

We came for dinner and ordered the catch of the day (a seabream and a seabass) with fries. The fish was amazing, it was one of the best dinner we've had in a long time!

Excellent restaurant with lovely views of the water. We ordered the seafood rice which was delicious and full of flavour, at a great price too. Also, the waiters were friendly and let us change tables to sit in the shade. Highly recommendable!

We had an amazing dinner here in early December 2021. The "arroz de mariscos" was absolutely wonderful. The waiter was very friendly and professional. The drinks were good and well priced and the main dish and dessert were just perfect. Beautiful place right by the river estuary across from Vila Nova de Milfontes town. Definitely recommended for anyone looking for a good meal at good prices.
This place was a pleasant surprise. Right on the beach, very good food and fair prices. The seafood is fresh. The staff is very nice and friendly. Absolutely recommended.
Stunning location. Really good food. Fantastic service. This is THE hidden gem of the coast.
